6/18/15 Theology 911
When I think about the sudden, undesired situations that seem to come from "out of the blue,"",
I am reminded that Jesus taught His followers, in John 16:33, that I should anticipate tribulation. However, because He has overcome the world, I can be of good cheer, because He has overcome the world.
The thought occurred to me that I need to have an emergency plan of biblical truth in place for those times, I have called it THEOLOGY 911. and put it into a pamphlet, using these verses. God has used it mightily in my life, and I trust it will be a blessing and help to you, as well.
Jeremiah 29:11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord,
thoughts of peace, and not of evil,
Romans 8:28-29. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good,
for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also
predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn
among many brothers.
Psalms 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God: for my expectation is from Him.
Psalms 18:30a As for God, His way is perfect...
Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
2 Corinthians 10:5. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge
of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
